The Mission

what is vectra

VECTRA is an 8-hour King of the Hill cybersecurity competition. Teams hunt vulnerabilities, breach target systems, and capture valuable assets — then hold the hill, defending every conquered system against rival crews while pushing deeper into new targets.

Think like the attacker. Defend like the empire. VECTRA fuses technical expertise, strategy, and teamwork in a fast-paced, real-world cybersecurity battleground.

Your Vectra Journey

rise through the ranks

Stage One — Learn

Learn the Fundamentals

Build your foundation at the awareness session — Blue Team operations, incident response, and Governance, Risk & Compliance. Then cross to the offensive side at the workshops: Red Teaming, OPSEC, persistence mechanisms, and rootkits, demonstrated in controlled environments.

Stage Two — Qualify

Earn Your Spot

A highly competitive 1-hour Capture the Flag challenge testing technical knowledge, problem-solving, and teamwork. This round is the gateway to the Grand Finale — only the highest-performing teams advance.

Stage Three — Conquer

The Grand Finale

Eight hours. Eight unique King of the Hill platforms, a new one igniting every hour. Analyze systems, find vulnerabilities, capture and hold them against rival teams. The top three teams are crowned champions of VECTRA.
